A training is a bigger commitment than a retreat — weeks, not days, and a certification at the end that's supposed to mean something. Here's what that actually looks like before you commit a chunk of your trip, and your professional credibility, to it.
Most programs run €900–2,800 for 2–4 weeks, all-in — accommodation, meals, manuals and the certification itself. Yoga teacher trainings (200hr/300hr) sit across the whole range depending on lineage and venue standard; sound healing and other specialty certifications tend to run shorter and cheaper. Concentrated on the south coast, with a smaller cluster in the hill country.
Not every "certification" carries the same weight. Check who's issuing it — Yoga Alliance-registered hours mean something specific and portable; a venue's own in-house certificate doesn't travel the same way. Every listing states the certifying body, hours, and what's included in the curriculum, because that's the part that actually matters once you're home trying to teach.
